What do I need before pairing?
Pairing an iPhone with a Wear OS watch isn't always easy. Bluetooth and Lynio need to stay connected throughout, so check that:
- →Bluetooth is on for your watch and iPhone.
- →Lynio is installed and open on your watch and iPhone.
- →Your watch and iPhone are close together.
What should my watch show?
Open Lynio on your watch and look for a two-character code under Pair your iPhone. You may also see a Bluetooth Allow screen.
If you see a Bluetooth message instead, turn on Bluetooth on your watch. On a Samsung watch, go to Settings > Connections. Then open Lynio on the watch again.
What if pairing still fails?
Clear an old connection
An old connection that no longer works can get in the way.
- 1On your iPhone, open Settings > Bluetooth, select your watch and tap Forget This Device.
- 2Turn Bluetooth off for 10 seconds. A simple way is to count from 1 to 10.
- 3Turn Bluetooth back on.
- 4Pair again in Lynio.
Restart both devices
If that doesn't work, Bluetooth may have a glitch. Turn your watch and iPhone off and on again. Restart both, because you may not know which one has the problem.
Is Lynio connecting to another watch?
Confirm that Lynio isn't connecting to another watch. If it is, forget the original watch in Lynio on your iPhone, then pair the new one.
What if it still doesn't work?
Update Lynio on your iPhone and watch, and check that your watch runs Wear OS. Lynio needs Wear OS to connect.
