Why is my watch connected but has no call audio?
Lynio connects your watch and iPhone in two ways:
- →Main connection: keeps your watch and iPhone linked. This is what shows as "connected."
- →Call audio connection: carries the sound during phone calls.
The call audio connection is less stable because of how iPhone handles this type of Bluetooth link. It can drop if you move too far away, or if you turn off your watch or iPhone. In our testing, it has also dropped sometimes when the watch and iPhone were close together. You will usually notice this after turning your watch back on or coming back within range.
How to turn call audio back on
Choose any one of these options.
In Lynio
- 1Open Lynio on your iPhone.
- 2On the home screen, tap the reconnect button.
In iPhone settings
- 1Open Settings > Bluetooth.
- 2Under My Devices, tap your watch's name.
In Control Center
- 1Swipe down on your iPhone to open Control Center.
- 2On Bluetooth, tap the arrow to see all devices.
- 3Find your watch. Its name appears twice: one is connected and the other is not.
- 4Tap the one that says Not Connected.
You don't need to pair again. Make a test call to check that you can hear the other person.
What if I still can't hear calls?
- 1Keep your watch close to your iPhone and try again.
- 2Update Lynio on your iPhone and watch.
- 3Email lynio@carpediemcreations.io with your watch and iPhone models.
