About the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic
Released August 2021 from $349.99, and the one people still hunt for. Samsung built it in 316L stainless steel with a physical rotating bezel, then dropped the bezel for two full generations before bringing it back on the Watch 6 Classic. For a long stretch this was the only way to get one.
It shares its internals with the plain Watch 4: the Exynos W920, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and the BioActive sensor that reads heart rate, ECG and body composition from a single chip. Samsung ended software support in September 2026, five years after launch, having delivered four operating system upgrades. It finishes on Wear OS 6 with One UI 8 Watch, which is current software. Nothing switches off. What stops is new features and future security patches.
