About the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic
Released August 2023 from $399, and the model that ended a two-year gap. Samsung skipped a Classic entirely in the Watch 5 generation, shipping the Watch 5 Pro instead, so the physical rotating bezel was gone until this watch brought it back. Samsung rebuilt it around a 3D Hall sensor and made it about 15% thinner, which is how the 47mm fits a 1.5in screen where the Watch 4 Classic 46mm managed 1.4in.
It is the only Classic sold in two sizes, 43mm and 47mm, which matters because the Watch 8 Classic is 46mm only. If you want steel and a bezel on a smaller wrist, the 43mm here is the option. It carries the full BioActive stack and reached Wear OS 6 with One UI 8 Watch in December 2025.
