About the Galaxy Watch 7
Released July 2024 from $299.99, and the model that quietly did most of the work. It brought the 3nm Exynos W1000 to the standard line, added dual-frequency GPS for the first time outside the Ultra, and introduced a rebuilt BioActive sensor with 13 LEDs covering blue, yellow, violet and ultraviolet.
Those extra emitters power the AGEs Index, Samsung's advanced glycation end-products reading, which it presents as a marker of biological age. It is also the last round Galaxy Watch. From the Watch 8 onward the whole line moved to a cushion case, so if you prefer a circular watch this is the newest one Samsung made. Samsung committed to four generations of upgrades, and it is still on the quarterly security list.

From the Play Store on the watch. If Google sign-in will not work there, Lynio sends the app across as a signed bundle over Wi-Fi instead.
