What actually separates them
All three mirror notifications, handle calls, sync to Apple Health and control music. On the feature list they look interchangeable. Three things decide it in practice.

Every one of these apps needs a second app installed on the watch itself, and that's where setups stall. Lynio walks through it, Merge assumes you know how, Bridge has no onboarding at all.

Setup is guided end to end, and if the watch is already active but Google sign-in doesn't work on it, Lynio pushes a signed app bundle over Wi-Fi rather than sending you to sideload an APK. Workouts log as the activity you did and health data reaches Apple Health consistently. 28 languages, and the only lifetime licence in the category. Merge was published first. Camera control triggers the iPhone camera from the watch, and nothing else here does it. It also pairs several watches to one iPhone; during our comparison we couldn't confirm whether Bridge does the same, though there was some indication it might. Merge splits features across separate watch apps, which some people prefer, responds to support enquiries on the App Store, and its 14-day trial is the longest here.
Gaps: manual reconnection after CarPlay, workouts logged as the wrong activity, health stats that don't always post, an English-only interface, and the highest price in the category at $35.99 or $59.99 a year.
Bridge
Price: $19.99/year, $1.99/month, or $0.99/month with ads. One global rate. No trial.
The lowest monthly commitment in the category. There's no trial; instead a freemium model where premium comes from paying or from earning ad coins, and a redemption might buy only one day of access at a time, which makes it a daily chore rather than standing access. Its file browser, shipped as a separate companion app, is the only way to browse your watch's files among these three. 29 languages, and an interface that's good with room for improvement.
Gaps: it's the only one running ads, and there's no onboarding flow. Manual reconnection after CarPlay, workouts logged as the wrong activity, and no support presence on the App Store, where Merge and Lynio both respond.
What all three share
An Android phone is sometimes needed, and that's Wear OS, not the app.
Samsung Galaxy Watch never needs one. Other Wear OS watches need brief Android access only if the watch is brand new and has never been activated.
All three connect several phones to one watch, and all three control music playback.
On the reverse, Merge pairs several watches to one iPhone and Lynio is one to one; we couldn't confirm Bridge's behaviour here during our comparison.
All three write to Apple Health, track workouts, and ship updates regularly.
The differences are in consistency, not capability.
The bottom line
Lynio for most people. If you want a connection that simply stays up, it's the only one that holds through CarPlay rather than dropping, the only one that heals itself, and the only one that guides you through setup properly. It also speaks 28 languages, prices against what things cost where you live, and is the only one you can buy once outright.
Merge if you want camera control or you rotate between several watches on one phone. Those are real features Lynio doesn't have, and worth paying more for if you'll use them.
Bridge if you want a file browser , or the lowest monthly commitment and don't mind ads to get it.
