How to Connect Xiaomi Watch 2 to Your iPhone.
Yes. The Xiaomi Watch 2 works with iPhone. Xiaomi's Mi Fitness app does not support iOS, so pair it with Lynio instead and you get calls, notifications, contacts and health sync in about 3 minutes. See how
The lightest Wear OS watch here at 36.8g, with dual-band GPS and a 65-hour battery, launched at €199.
About the Xiaomi Watch 2
Announced at Mobile World Congress in February 2024 at €199, and the value pick in this list. It is a full Wear OS watch with the Google Play Store on the watch itself, running a Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1, and it undercuts a Pixel Watch by a wide margin.
At 36.8g in an aluminium case it is the lightest watch in this directory, and the 495mAh battery is rated at up to 65 hours, which is roughly triple a Pixel Watch. It also has dual-band L1 and L5 GPS, which is unusual at the price.
The honest limits: there is no LTE version, the display peaks at 600 nits which is dim next to a Samsung or Pixel, there is no ECG, and Xiaomi publishes no software support window. It shipped on Wear OS 3.5, reached Wear OS 4 in September 2024 and Wear OS 5 in August 2025. Coverage of Wear OS 6 lists it among the watches unlikely to receive it.

Connect in 3 Steps
Install Lynio Watch on your Xiaomi Watch 2
From the Play Store on the watch. If Google sign-in will not work there, Lynio sends the app across as a signed bundle over Wi-Fi instead.
Follow the in-app pairing guide
Keep both on the same Wi-Fi, Bluetooth on, and leave the app open until pairing finishes.
What You Get After Pairing
| Works | Does not carry over |
|---|---|
| Notifications from your iPhone | The Mi Fitness phone app and its history |
| Calls, made and answered from the wrist | Google Wallet payments from the wrist |
| Contacts synced from the iPhone | |
| Music playback control | |
| Workouts and health data written to Apple Health | |
| Dual-band GPS, the 65-hour battery, every on-watch sensor |
Mi Fitness is Android only, which is the reason this watch has no iPhone route of its own. Everything the watch does by itself, including the GPS and the battery life, is unaffected.
