About the TAG Heuer Calibre E4
Announced February 2022 and on sale that March, in 42mm and 45mm. Launch prices ran from $1,800 for 42mm steel to $2,550 for 45mm titanium, with Golf and Sport editions following in January 2023 at $2,500 and $2,600. The Golf Edition tracks play automatically across around 40,000 courses, with shot tracking and club identification, and ships with branded golf balls.
Inside it is a Snapdragon Wear 4100+ with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, which is 2020 silicon in a 2022 watch. It has the full Google Play Store on it, GPS, heart rate and a compass, but no ECG and no LTE version.
Where it stands now. It shipped on Wear OS 2, was upgraded to Wear OS 3 from March 2023, and no source reports Wear OS 4 or 5 for it. TAG marks the E4 discontinued on its own site and replaced it in October 2025 with the Connected Calibre E5, which leaves Wear OS entirely for TAG's own operating system.

TAG's own iPhone support pairs the watch and runs TAG's apps. What it does not carry is the Google layer, which is where most people notice the gap on a Wear OS watch.
