How to Connect Montblanc Summit to Your iPhone.
Yes. The Summit 3 works with iPhone. Montblanc's own route pairs it but leaves Google Maps and Google Wallet unavailable, so pair it with Lynio instead and you get calls, notifications, contacts and health sync in about 3 minutes. See how
A 42mm titanium Wear OS watch at $1,290, and the first non-Samsung watch to run Wear OS 3.
About the Montblanc Summit
Shipped 15 July 2022 at $1,290, and it made real news at the time: it was the first non-Samsung smartwatch to run Wear OS 3, at a point when the new platform was Samsung-only. It was also the first non-Samsung Wear OS watch with Google Fast Pair.
The case is 42mm titanium with a stainless steel bezel and caseback, at around 77g including the band, under sapphire crystal. Inside is a Snapdragon Wear 4100+ with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, and it carries the full Google Play Store. Montblanc never published a battery capacity, saying only that it was larger than the Summit 2. Reviewers measured about a day.
Where the line stands. The Summit 3 is the most recent Summit. Montblanc's own site now lists only Summit chargers and straps, with no watch bodies and no prices, though its customer service page still offers battery exchange. It shipped on Wear OS 3.0 and no source reports Wear OS 4 or 5 for it. Montblanc has made no public exit announcement, and there is no successor model.

Connect in 3 Steps
Install Lynio Watch on your Montblanc Summit
From the Play Store on the watch. If Google sign-in will not work there, Lynio sends the app across as a signed bundle over Wi-Fi instead.
Follow the in-app pairing guide
Keep both on the same Wi-Fi, Bluetooth on, and leave the app open until pairing finishes.
What You Get After Pairing
| Works | Does not carry over |
|---|---|
| Notifications from your iPhone, and you can act on them | Google Wallet payments from the wrist |
| Calls, made and answered from the wrist | Montblanc's own app history |
| Contacts synced from the iPhone | |
| Music playback control | |
| Workouts and health data written to Apple Health | |
| GPS, every on-watch sensor, the full Play Store |
The Summit 3's iPhone support was its headline feature, but reviewers found the Google layer is where it breaks down: Google Maps and Google Wallet are not accessible, and Google Assistant setup was problematic. That is the specific gap, and it is why a second route is worth having.
